Sediment Blending
GHL now provides sediment blending to meet requirements of the NJDEP protocol for testing hydrodynamic separators and filters. This sediment also meets the requirements of the Canadian Environmental Technology Verification (ETV) Oil Grit Separator protocol.
Sediment blending is the measure of the effectiveness in a concentration of sediments used together to separate certain sediments or particulates.
We can typically achieve a d50 = 65-70 microns. All batches are randomly sampled as required by NJDEP. Sediment is provided with certificate from an analytical lab that is ISO 17025 or equivalent accredited.
